Ms. Janet Anderson, president of The Anderson Agency, has 25 years of experience in strategic marketing. Under her direction, the Agency has been nominated as one of Houston's "Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies."

Richard Berry

Arlen Ferguson

For more than 30 years, Arlen Ferguson has specialized in executive compensation and human resource management consulting engagements for corporate clients in a wide variety of industries. These assignments involved working directly with senior management and boards of directors and focused on the formulation of executive compensation strategy, the design of salary and incentive plans and the establishment of appropriate executive benefit programs.

Mr. Ferguson graduated from Southwestern University with a B.B.A. and received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas. Mr. Ferguson is a frequent speaker before professional and business groups. He is a member of the American Compensation Association, the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Houston Compensation Association.

Barbara Gardner

Barbara J. Gardner graduated first in her class from South Texas College of Law in 1981. She has since built a career as a leading employment law attorney, as well as a respected speaker on legal matters. She is a partner at the firm Tucker, Vaughan, Gardner & Barnes, P.C., which specializes in employment law. She is a member of the State Bar Association of Texas, the Houston Bar Association and the local, state and national Employment Law Associations.

Prior to becoming a partner at Tucker, Vaughan, Gardner & Barnes, P.C., Barbara was an attorney at Bracewell & Patterson and was a former partner at Mandell & Wright, P.C., both located in Houston. She also worked at the Popham Law Firm in Kansas City for several years. Barbara is a knowledgeable and articulate speaker who will inform and enlighten your group about the intricacies and trends in employment law.

Pamela C. Grant

Pamela C. Grant is a business consultant and coach who specializes in Management Training and Development as well as Career Counseling and Personal Coaching. Her experience includes over 10 years as an international consultant as well as 22 years in management for Fortune 500 companies.

Pamela has a Masters of Science in Occupational Education from the University of Houston, with a major in Management Training and Development. She is a licensed career counselor in Texas.

John Grover

John is Vice President and Branch Manager of the downtown Houston office of Raymond James and Associates. Mr. Grover focuses the majority of his efforts on developing and maintaining a positive approach to each and every life situation. Mr. Grover began his speaking work in 1990 as an employee of Prudential Securities. Having won the “ Rookie of the Year” for Prudential Securities, he was invited to speak to all training classes in New York and San Diego. Mr. Grover has spoken to groups from Fortune 500 companies including General Electric, Dupont, Lockheed, UBS (formerly PaineWebber) as well as smaller civic and business groups.

Following graduation from the University of Texas at Austin, John was a professional educator and coach in the public school system. His experience of leading young people in the classroom and on the athletic field has had a profound impact on his experiences and he dwells upon those experiences often. John also has a successful wealth-management practice in Houston and uses his relationships with clients and colleagues during presentations.

Paul Mann, M.D.

Dr. Paul Mann grew up in the Houston area and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He earned an M.B.A. from the Jones Graduate School of Administration at Rice University while attending medical school at the UT Health Science Center at Houston. He then completed his internship and residency training at The University of Utah John A. Moran Eye Center, serving as Chief Resident for his final year.

Dr. Mann served as Clinical Fellow of Refractive and Corneal Surgery at the Pepose Vision Institute in St. Louis, Missouri, performing refractive and corneal surgeries. While in St. Louis, he taught at the University of Missouri, School of Optometry. He is especially proud of his efforts to provide surgical instruction and care to the indigent people of central Bolivia, having recently returned from a trip to the region where his team treated over 500 individuals in need.

Dr. Mann specializes in performing the Blade Free LASIK procedure utilizing the most advanced laser technology available. A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, he annually presents scientific papers to his peers.

Mark Miller is a business development professional with award-winning sales and training skills. He has almost 25 years of hands-on management, sales, marketing and sales management experience. Mark is Sandler’s top “Certified Sales Trainer” in Texas and the recipient of numerous honors for training excellence.

Thomas R. Watson, Ph.D.
